Offered is a very scarce, quite interesting, California, Folsom State Prison document that includes the Mug Shot and Fingerprints of a 23 year old convict.

The 8" x 8" heavy paper document presents pertinent, highly-detailed, personal data including: name, race, age, date of birth, occupation, county of residence, height, weight, fingerprints, unusual identifying physical marks or scars, and physical description, as well as crime committed and length of sentence. The prisoner was required to sign the completed document in the lower right corner.

The convict's sepia-colored mug shot of front and profile views is presented on the reverse side. He was convicted of embezzlement, and interestingly, his previous criminal record and time served in San Quentin Prison is also noted on this document!

This official prison record is marked on the reverse side with a circular, red-colored stamp reading: Rec'd June 14 1941 Bureau of Crim. Ident.

This prison record comes encased in a glass-fronted, plastic frame.

The condition, including the two photos, is very good.

Offered are 6 circa 1900 aqua colored patent medicine bottles which were part of my collection. The grouping sports embossed labels indicating that they were a remedy or healer for lung, cough, throat or chest ailments. They measure from 5 to 7 inches tall, are in very good shape with no cracks, a few manufacturers' imperfections such as tiny air bubbles and glass flaws.

DR BALLES HUSTENA (for asthma, cough and throat) triangle bottle is 5 inches tall, has a tiny fleck missing from lip and interior staining.

Dr HOOKER COUGH AND CROUP SYRUP is a round 5.5 inch bottle and has light interior staining and minor exterior scuffing.

HUGH DAVIES COUGH MIXTURE is 5.5 inches tall and except for some scuff marks is very nice. The embossing is not as bold as the other bottles.

C.DEAKIN & HUGHES 'CHEST COUGH AND LUNG HEALER' is 5.5 inches and in very good shape.

ONE MINUTE COUGH MIXTURE measures 5.5 inches and shows faint exterior staining or old patina that appears that it can be cleaned.

Dr. J. W. BULL'S COUGH SYRUP measures almost 7 inches and has minor interior staining. All bottles display fine and would make a lovely addition to your collection.

Offered are 2 early Ladies Antique Hickory Wood Shaft Golf Club irons: ATCO and Meadowlark Putter.

The forged ATCO (Alex Taylor & Co. New York City), 37 inch club has its original brushed, mildly worn leather grip and hickory wood shaft. The shaft is solid, undamaged, with an early finish that has unobtrusive wear and a warm, aged patina. The tarnished club face shows honorable wear commensurate with an antique club and a square dot manufacture pattern.

The second club, a 33.5 inch putter marked "MEADOWLARK", sports its original shaft and smooth leather grip that are in good condition. The thick shaft is solid and has mild finish loss and imperfections commensurate with age and use. The clubs face has the broken line design pattern and a small, ancient rust imperfection and age appropriate tarnished surface patina.

The clubs date to the 1910 - 1925 era based on the ATCO crimped hosel design, stamped square dot pattern and similar style clubs of the era. Both clubs have an (L) stamped on the back of each club indicating that they are ladies clubs.

This is a colorful 1936 series Treasury Department IRS Narcotics form. The document is dated and filed 1947 at Cases Drug Store, Logan Ohio. This decorative record confirms that the narcotic was Codeine Sulphate 1/2 gr. and was purchased by the Rexall Drug Company, Pittsburgh, PA.

The form measures 11" high x 9" wide and is in fine condition except for a 1/2" tear in the upper (R) hand corner (barely seen when framed). Although once common, these decorative documents are getting more difficult to find.

Measuring 4.25 x 4 x 1 inches, this all original cardboard display contains 24, full, bakelite capsules or tubes of EVERSHARPE RED TOP pencil-lead!

Interestingly, this display was found among the contents of an old North Carolina country store.

This product was made in the 1940's in the USA with tubes originally selling for 15 cents per tube. Each bakelite capsule or tube contains 45 sticks of "Q-15 Soft Standard" pieces of pencil-lead.

As seen in the photos, the red caps of the bakelite containers are brittle from age and are in varying states of "wholeness"--some intact and some not.

An interesting and unusual item to add to one's advertising or olde school collection!

Measuring approximately 4.5 x 6.5 inches, this circa 1900 souvenir postcard folder is entitled, "Souvenir Folder of the Sunny South, The Land of King Cotton". It was printed by Curt Telch & Co., Chicago, Illinois.

The folder is undated and was never mailed. Some edge wear evident at corners and some slight separation at the seams of individual cards. While some photos may appear a bit blurry, this is a function of photography and not condition. All postcards are crisp and clear!

The Real Photo postcard folder features the lyrics of "Dixieland" and 18 full color scenes of industry common in the South during this period: cotton picking and production, tapping pine trees for turpentine production, watermelon farming, Razorback Hog farming and sugarcaning. All photos feature African-American laborers.

Measuring a diminutive 1.5 inches wide x 2.5 inches tall x .5 inches deep, this darling, French, paper packet or package features African, Zoulou-tribe natives as advertising symbols on the packaging, making for a very picturesque graphic!

The paper package contains nearly all of its original powder, having never been opened; however, as noted in the second photo, the corner edge wear has resulted in some minor leakage of the powder. Because of this, the package has been shrink-wrapped to preserve the remainder of the product.

The shrink wrapping makes the package very difficult to photograph; additionally, some minor leakage of the powder under the shrink wrap also obscures viewing. The first two photos are of the actual package currently offered for sale--with shrink wrap on and minor leakage of powder under the shrink-wrap. The remaining photos clearly show the details of the Zoulou packaging using an undamaged, unshrink-wrapped package that has already been sold, no longer available for purchase. These photos are offered purely for the convenience of the viewer so that the details of the Zoulou package can be readily seen without the encumbrance of the shrink wrap blocking package details; these photos do not represent the condition of the package currently being offered for sale. The first two photos represent the condition of the actual Zoulou package currently offered for sale, with the pricing reflecting condition.

The manufacturers of the Zoulou powder claimed that healing properties were associated with the powder.

A well-detailed, rarely-found example of turn-of-the-century use of graphics in advertising!

Measuring 12.5 inches wide by 8 inches high, this vintage, hand-painted on board, 1940's No Smoking sign is most emphatic in its message: "NO SMOKING MEANS NO SMOKING"! Most definitely a conversation piece! Fab visual display! Condition is good with paint wear to edges as seen in photos. Light pencil lines to guide the hand-painting are still visible on the front of the sign. (The left side of sign appears darker in photos than the right side. This is a function of less-than-perfect photography! Coloration and brightness are uniform throughout! No dark or shadowy areas!)

This is a nice grouping of 15 EMPTY Pharmacy Hypodermic Tablet Vials, representing a wide variety of remedies and pharmaceutical manufacturers including MULFORD, ELI LILLY, SHARPE & DOHME, and PARKE DAVIS.

These corked cuties date from the early 1900s to 1920s, and all but one retain their tiny corks.

Some vials, such as that containing STRYCHNINE, are marked "POISON" on their paper labels.

Interestingly, there is one VETERINARY vial labeled ARECOLINE HYDROBROMIDE POISON by Mulford.

The diminutive vials measure from 2 inches long to 3 inches and are all in good condition. Imperfections noted: one vial has a tiny chip to the mouth of the tube and another vial has a minor crack near the cork.

Interesting grouping to add to your collection!

Offered is a very nice 1950 - 1960s era painted wood sign found in a Myrtle Beach antiques shop. This double sided sign has the same word "WATERFRONT" painted on each side. The white background and bold black stenciled lettering are identical.

This handsome sign measures 24 inches long x 6 inches high and 3/8 inches thick. There are 2 unobtrusive small holes on either side which were used when hanging the sign. Other than the expected scuff marks, surface mars, and minor stains, this sign is well preserved.

Would complement any decor or collection. PERFECT for the BEACH!
