Measuring only 8 ½ inches long, this very sweet, circa 1950’s, miniature, cloth, Little Red Riding Hood Topsy Turvy Doll is in delightful condition! Such dolls are called Topsy Turvy’s because they are constructed so that there is a doll head on either end of the doll. When one flips the skirt of one doll, another doll appears!In this instance, we have Little Red Riding Hood on one end, and when her skirt is flipped up and over her head, Grandma appears! As an added bonus, lift Grandma’s cap up over the back of her head, and Voila! There is the mean old wolf!!!
Red Riding Hood and Grandma have painted facial features and yarn hair; the wolf’s facial features are constructed of felt. Dresses are a cotton fabric.
Condition is quite good- Red Riding Hood is perfect, Grandma shows a little light surface soiling to her face and hair, and her lace collar needs a stitch or two, and the Wolf also shows some very slight surface soiling.
