Offered is a wonderful, circa 1960s, unused Toy Balloon display box complete with its original "one gross" of red, blue, white, yellow and green balloons! Box is stamped "Made in USA" and "A Quality"!Meant to be displayed on a store counter top and the balloons to be sold individually, this display is in complete, untouched, never-used, condition. The box colors are actually brighter than the photos convey. The box measures 8.25 inches wide x 6 inches deep x 2.25 inches high. The box cover features a Mexican gentleman leading his donkey-pulled-cart that is brimming with brightly-colored, inflated balloons. The cover is designed in the "pop-up style" (see photo number 1) which enhances its visual display appeal! Obviously due to the 40+ years age of these balloons, they are no longer meant to be functional but are now to be enjoyed for display only!

Measuring 5 inches tall x 3 inches deep x 1.5 inches wide, this darling, truly one-of-a-kind, child's play telephone for dolly, was likely made by a caring father some 90++ years ago! This phone is designed in the style phone that would require the assistance of the local operator to place a call and likely was even a party line! The phone case is constructed entirely of wood and stands on 4 small wooden feet. The framework for the telephone apparatus, itself, is constructed of heavy cardboard covered in a simulated wood-look paper. The telephone has 2 round metal knobs simulating the ringer bells, and the ear and mouth pieces are quite authentic in appearance and appear to be bakelite. The ear piece is attached with its original string and hangs of a teeny metal hook on the left side. A phone box is situated under the phone, and a tiny, paper telephone book (!!) hangs off a matching string on the right side of the phone case. An absolutely darling, one-of-a-king collectible!

A delightful find for the Baby Boomer Generation! A circa 1950's, mint condition, COMPLETE SET of bright blue, yellow, and green plastic toy Police Whistles, untouched in their original, cardboard, store display box. This type of display would have been placed on the counter next to the checkout register with the gum and candy to entice little girls and boys to purchase!
The display box cover features a city policeman demonstrating the authentic and powerful amplitude of the whistles. The cover has a perforated seam that was meant to be unfastened when the box was displayed open so that the policeman and city skyline stood tall above the whistles. The cover has yet to be displayed in this manner.
Marked ALL AMERICAN PLASTIC WHISTLES with no other maker’s mark evident.

This circa 1920's, children's outdoor game made by Parker Brothers of Salem, Massachusetts, retains all of its original game pieces as well as the original game box cover, which has been professionally matted with museum quality, acid-free materials. (Alas, the remainder of the game box disintegrated long ago.) The 3 game piece rings are constructed of heavy hemp rope with a painted wooden bead- each rope bead a different color. The pole, upon which one attempts to toss the ring, is all wood. all of the game pieces and game box cover retain their rich, original colors! Condition of the game, absent the missing box, is quite fine. Very minimal wear to game pieces makes on wonder if they have ever been used; slight, light stain to right side of box cover. A fabulous vintage toy!

This delightful, 1920's, hand-painted, English pull toy features a darling horse and jockey! When pulled by its string, the toy rolls along on its metal and rubber wheels, causing the jockey to raise and lower himself off of the horse as the horse makes a coordinated "jumping" motion as his front legs raise up slightly. The toy is labeled "Loros Bros Ltd London England" within a small triangle that is painted on one side of the metal supporting rim (see photos). The horse and rider are constructed of wood and are affixed to the metal frame. The toy measures 11 inches tall when the rider is standing straight up and is 10.5 inches long. Condition is quite fine given the toy's 80+ years of age. There are scrapes and minor wear to the paint here and there, the horse's tail is missing, and 2 newer nails in the horse's hind legs were added as reinforcement at some point. The toy is structurally sound and works quite well! It is simply adorable and displays beautifully!!

Measuring 7 inches long x 4 inches high x 6 inches wide, this all tin, 1943 copyrighted, WOLVERINE “SEE and SPELL” educational school toy is in fine overall condition! The tin is lithographed with a delightful scene of school children standing at the front of the class during a spelling bee with the teacher seen in the lower left corner holding a spelling book! Just adorable! On the back of the toy, a lone boy is seen drawing pictures and practicing spelling at a portable chalk board. The toy is operated by pushing either side handle in a downward motion, which makes the words and pictures spin inside the toy. When the motion stops, four different spelling words with their accompanying pictures appear in the eight different windows.
Other than light surface blemishes due to age and gentle use, and the 4 missing tab covers which are supposed to keep the spelling words hidden, this vintage toy is in remarkable condition and makes a very colorful display piece!

This vibrantly colored, uncut, circa 1930's, Little Mary Jane Paperdoll designed by Berta and Elmer Hadai, ran exclusively in Good Housekeeping magazine and features a Halloween theme complete with jack-o-lanterns and a basket of harvested fall apples! Professionally matted and framed some many years back, this lovely piece of wall art measures 10.5 inches wide x 13.5 inches long and remains in excellent original condition! Any discoloration, facing of color or reflection seen in photos is related to the difficulty photographing an object under glass and is NOT an imperfection to the piece.
