This extraordinarily well-preserved, vintage and cased, doctor's ALLERGY TEST KIT dates from 1947. It comes with a nearly complete set of labeled corked glass vials - most with contents. The hardwood case sports brass metal hardware and measures 13.5" x 10.5" x 5.5". The interior label lists the contents and physician's directions. The vials are dated from 1947-1948. The drawer glides smoothly and one latch doesn't lock securely. Otherwise, this piece presents as an awesome visual display. The box cover presents with gold-colored labeling marked "WYETH......" as seen in photo.

Offered is quite a visually-appealing, vintage 1940s, Eli LILLY Pharmacy Sign. This wood-framed advertisement sports a reverse-painted sign marketing the THOMAS DRUG STORE. The interesting, painted background simulates an exotic mahogany wood grain! The condition is very good with various areas of paint lifting from the glass. Minor unobtrusive surface scratches near the "Y". Despite its age flaws, this sign does display quite nicely. (Difficult to photograph due to its reflective properties, so please disregard reflections when evaluating.) Measures 23 inches wide x 13+ inches high.

This unique patent medicine labeled "FOLEY'S PAIN RELIEF" comes complete with box and paper insert. This medicine bottle originally contained 2 grains of OPIUM.The attractive, aqua-colored bottle measures about 4.5 inches and sports complete labels. No damage to the bottle with some wear to the primary label and more to the side-paneled labels as seen in the photos. The interior of bottle contains old liquid residue. The informational paper insert is partially damaged with some separation, loss and staining. The box is in fairly good condition, missing the top flap. The bottle side panel displays a written product guarantee as specified under the 1906 Food and Drug Act. A difficult-to-find OPIUM narcotic bottle!

Measuring a diminutive 1.75 inches in diameter and in mint condition, this interesting and unusual celluloid advertising pocket mirror features a Medieval-looking Apothecary or Chemist who is presumably cooking up the recipe for Duffy's Pure Malt Whiskey!!! (**Please note that any white spots in the photos are light reflections ONLY and not damage to the mirror.**)The mirror front has a cream colored border surrounding the image of the apothecary. The red colored print within the border is subtly faded but remains quite readable.
Imprinted around the circumference of the mirror is the following, "Take Duffy's Pure Malt Whiskey When You Are Not Looking Well. Makes the Weak, Strong!" And... within the border of the graphic: "Absolutely Pure And Unadulterated" "Trademark" Original mirrored backing is in very fine condition with just a few very minute, superficial scratches. Manufacturer name stamped on bottom edge: "P. F. Pulver Company, Rochester, New York". An interesting little advertising piece!

Offered is a vintage 1933 Tycos Blood Pressure Cuff complete with its original leather case stamped in gold with the initials "KVB".The set is in wonderful condition for its age and would make a fabulous display piece within a medical memorabilia collection; the only issue for the set is that the meter's tubing has separated from the cuff. The bulb is labeled "Baumanometer", the meter is labeled "Tycos" and the air flow control valve is stamped "Air Flow Control". Straight out of the original physician's doctor's bag!

Offered are 2 Seidlitz tins from the 1930s, each priced separately. Very rarely found, the first tin is a wonderful, R.H. Macy Department Store, New York City, New York, drug store remedy tin once contained the well-known Seidlitz Powders, U.S.P. used to calm gastro-intestinal upsets! The empty tin measures 4.5 inches wide x 3 inches deep x 1.5 inches high, and with the exception of the surface wear as noted in photos, the tin remains in wonderful condition! Quite visually appealing, the Macy's tin is painted a light blue-toned green. The lift-off cover features an attractive, stylized, scroll, cream-colored R.H. Macy label. The base of the tin retains its original dosage and directional label, and as noted, the product was "APPROVED BY MACY'S BUREAU OF STANDARDS"! The Macy tin is priced at $20.00. The second tin is an empty REXALL Seidlitz tin produced by United Drugs, Boston, Massachusetts. The tin has been protected by shrink wrapping which can be removed if desired. The tin measures 4.50 inches wide, 3.25 inches high, and 1.75 inches deep and is in fine condition with the expected superficial surface abrasions. The Rexall tin is priced at $30.00.
