This colorful group of 5 empty drug store tins. One of the circa 1940s - 1950s tins is labeled “Hospital Packet” and the other 4 are noted as “Professional Packet”. The Hospital Packet tin differs in the front and back lithograph as well as the text. The medicine tins are marked DERMA MEDICONE and are topical anesthetic ointments labeled: Benzocaine, Oxyquinolone Sulphate, Ephedrine HCL, and more.The 5 tins are all in nice condition with unobtrusive minor surface scratches with one having a minor rust stain to the lower edge from storage. The tins measure just over 1.5 “ in diameter. Perfect for your shop or collection!

PHI-TEM (fight - them!!!). An unusual all around treatment remedy for the relief of many conditions including: Pneumonia, Bronchitis, Neuralgia, Neuritis, Lumbago, Congestion of the Lungs, Flu, Coughs, Colds, Croup and Swelling! The tin is full of medicated gauze which was placed in boiling water creating a paste which was then applied hot with a towel. Neat stuff created by the "PHI-TEM COMPANY, North Chelmsford, MA." Condition is very good with original contents and somewhat faded purple colored paper label. Measures 3 inches tall and appears to be from 1930-1940 era.

Offered for sale is a circa 1920s remedy for the Bladder, Kidneys and Liver. This druggist or pharmacy medicine bottle sports a decorative box complete with an insert that is packed with information about the merits of this treatment. The 7 inch tall corked bottle is full, complete with its screw-on dose cap and is in wonderful condition. The box is nearly complete, minus the top flaps and shows expected evidence of wear. Please note the druggists red mortar and pestle shaped label affixed to the box. Finding corked remedy bottles in unused condition with fancy boxes are a treat to collectors!

This is an interesting pharmacy medicine from the 1930's that is for the treatment of female related conditions only. "GYNAGEN" powder is manufactured in Toronto, Canada by the Charles C. Cummings & Co. All printed information is in English and French. The 4.5 inch tin cylindrical container is full with what appears to be the original pink powder contents and is in very good condition with the exception of some rust on the bottom of the tin. The paper label is complete and shows minor wear spots from storage. A great disease specific medication!

Measuring a diminutive 2 inches in diameter and in mint condition, this interesting and unusual celluloid advertising pocket mirror features a person dosing with a magical "Nature's Remedy" tablet! (**Please note that any white spots in the photos are light reflections ONLY and not damage to the mirror.**)The mirror front has a faded salmon colored border surrounding an image of a person's face with protruding tongue, about to swallow a "NR" (Nature's Remedy)tablet.
Imprinted around the circumference of the mirror is the following, "Take One Tonight - You'll feel Better In The Morning." AND.... "Better Than Pills For Liver Ills - Get a 25 Cent Box" Original mirrored backing is in very fine condition with just a few very minute, superficial scratches. Some fading of color around the very edge of the mirror as seen in photos. Manufacturer name stamped on bottom edge: "Parisian Novelty Company, Chicago". An interesting little advertising piece!

Offered for sale is a pair of very nice E.R. Squibb & Sons, Brooklyn, NY tins that come from the early unused stock of the former A.D. Pierce Pharmacy in Hartford, CT!! The tins are in good condition with ‘crackling’ to the painted lithographed surface. The metal top and base are tarnished (more to the top of one of them) and a few minor paint scuffs are noted to the tins. The tins measure 3.5H x 2.25 ”W x 1.75”D and each sport a 1906 FDA label. The A.D. Pierce Pharmacy originated in Hartford, Connecticut, at 914 Main Street during the late 19th century and later relocated to 247 Sigourney Street in Hartford doing business as A.D. Pierce and Son. Posted along with photos of the tins are 2 images of the pharmacy, circa 1960, which are NOT included with the sale of the tins.
