Measuring 10.25 inches wide by 7 inches high, this highly-colorful, mint condition, felt American flag is actually a tobacco premium which was awarded as a free bonus to tobacco buyers back in the day!

The flag features 48 stars and is bordered with the stars and stripes as well as a Liberty Bell at each of the four corners.

The Flag is double-sided and looks fabulous when viewed from either side.

Would look just striking if matted and framed!

Measuring 6.75 inches in diameter and 4 inches high, this wonderful, C1920, Ohio-made, yellow ware, spongeware batter bowl features fabulous blue sponging and is much more striking “in person” than the photos were able to capture.

It has glaze crazing typical of an 85+ year old piece of pottery as well as two, very tight hairlines approximately 1.50 inches in length. Measuring 7 inches in diameter at its widest point and 10 inches high, this lovely, C1920, Ohio-made, yellow ware, blue spongeware pitcher exudes elegance! It features a fabulous, embossed and sculpted rim and a decorative handle, both accented with gold gilt!

The pitcher sits on a footed base and has a generous, bulbous-shaped body. It has glaze crazing typical of an 85+ year old piece of pottery, superficial flakes as noted in photos, and two hairlines at the base (see photos) which likely were acquired through use over the years. This complete, 204 page, 1886 atlas is packed with wonderful hand-colored maps of the United States, each individual state, and the countries and continents of the world including two pages devoted to the principal cities of the world. Additionally, this teaching tool provides an interesting history of the political parties of the United States from 1607-1886, a chronological outline of American history from 986 to 1885, an illustration of the seals of each state, population charts, important inventions, an alphabetical list of the towns and counties of each state and many more examples of fascinating and obscure US historical trivia!

The hardbound text measures 14" L x 12" W. The cloth covers are faded with worn edges. The back cover remains bound to the spine. The front cover has become unbound from the book spine but remains loosely attached to the book via its cloth binding. The pages have light unobtrusive foxing while the hand-coloring remains unchanged by time. The majority of the maps and images measure 9.5" x 12" at the decorative borders. There are a handful of larger maps measuring 12" x 16" at their borders, i.e. Texas, Pennsylvania, California, USA, and South America (a bit smaller).

Published by Donahue and Henneberry, Printers and Binders, Chicago, March 1886.

A fabulous historical reference text and atlas that provides a perspective on the United States and the world in 1886. The maps and images are suitable for framing if desired, but this historical text begs to remain intact!

This delightful, 1920's, hand-painted, English pull toy features a darling horse and jockey!

When pulled by its string, the toy rolls along on its metal and rubber wheels, causing the jockey to raise and lower himself off of the horse as the horse makes a coordinated "jumping" motion as his front legs raise up slightly.

The toy is labeled "Loros Bros Ltd London England" within a small triangle that is painted on one side of the metal supporting rim (see photos). The horse and rider are constructed of wood and are affixed to the metal frame. The toy measures 11 inches tall when the rider is standing straight up and is 10.5 inches long.

Condition is quite fine given the toy's 80+ years of age. There are scrapes and minor wear to the paint here and there, the horse's tail is missing, and 2 newer nails in the horse's hind legs were added as reinforcement at some point. The toy is structurally sound and works quite well! It is simply adorable and displays beautifully!!

Measuring 5.5 inches x 6.5 inches framed, this darling little pair of 19th century, hand-colored prints depict two different homesteads of Macon County, Illinois. One appears to be the residence of a “R. Timmons” and the other of a “S. Macon”. The frames are likely circa 1930-40’s and were done at a Greensboro, North Carolina gallery. Both are darling featuring pleasant, pastoral scenes!

Beautiful "Copper Lustre" paint accents a central yellow band with copper colored, feather detailing. Interior rim is painted in a pink lustre band.

Measuring 5 inches tall x 3 inches deep x 1.5 inches wide, this darling, truly one-of-a-kind, child's play telephone for dolly, was likely made by a caring father some 90++ years ago, modeled after the real-life, circa 1910, Stomberg-Carlson crank-style, telephone of the day! The real-life version of this telephone required the assistance of the local operator to place a call and likely was even a party line!

The phone case is constructed entirely of wood and stands on 4 small wooden feet. The framework for the telephone apparatus, itself, is constructed of heavy cardboard covered in a simulated wood-look paper. The telephone has 2 round metal knobs simulating the ringer bells, and the ear and mouth pieces are quite authentic in appearance and appear to be bakelite. The ear piece is attached with its original string and hangs of a teeny metal hook on the left side. A phone box is situated under the phone, and a tiny, paper telephone book (!!) hangs off a matching string on the right side of the phone case.

An absolutely darling, one-of-a-king collectible!
