Offered is an attractive, birds eye maple, dentist hanging cabinet complete with instruments. This Art Deco styled cabinet came from the estate of a retired dentist who practiced in Connecticut for many years.

This instrument is called a BURTONS VITALOMETER, and was used to measure the health of the tooth pulp.

The case measures 12" tall x 8.5" across x 4.25" deep and is in very good condition. This attractive cabinet sports a 6", circular, front window and comes with all the parts and electrical components as seen in the photos. I have not verified whether this tool functions, but was told that all of the dental instruments were still in use up until the time of the previous owner's retirement.

A unique, visually interesting, piece to add to one's dental collection!

$195.00

Offered for consideration, is a wonderful and rarely found, 19th century American "DENTIST" sign in brass measuring 12 3/4ths inches wide x 7 inches high.

The sign advertises the office of "James H. Groom. Dentist.", and remains in fine condition with deep-toned, original patina and with some very minor warping due to its many years of age. The lettering is actually impressed into the surface and is painted black. Any white marks appearing on the front of the sign are due only to light/sun reflection---the sign has a very even-toned coloration.

The sign has a hole at each corner to facilitate hanging, or it may be easily displayed upon a shelf!

A fabulous , rich-looking display piece with great "eye appeal"!
