Discovered in Petaluma, California, this exceptional, late 19th century, medical doctor's advertising sign is constructed in what appears to be copper over brass metals. Boldly inscribed, “DOCTOR CHESTER L. CARLISLE”, this vintage sign measures 15” long x 12” wide. The letters were once painted and now show traces of old black paint in some areas. The beveled edges of the sign are soldered in place to further enhance the appearance of this wonderful sign. The original patina and surface are in untouched, "as found" condition. A fabulous addition to any doctor or medical collection! |
