Offered for sale is a wonderful, 19th century, apothecary pharmacy bottle sporting a colorful, hand painted, glass label marked “F.E. ERGOTA.” that originated from the former A.D. Pierce Pharmacy in Hartford, CT!! The 8.5 inch tall fluid extract bottle an impressive sight to see when displayed! There are no markings on the bottom of the bottle. The condition of the amber bottle is very nice including the label. The A.D. Pierce Pharmacy originated in Hartford, Connecticut, at 914 Main Street during the late 19th century and later relocated to 247 Sigourney Street in Hartford as A.D. Pierce and Son. The bottle is empty. |
