This unique patent medicine labeled "FOLEY'S PAIN RELIEF" comes complete with box and paper insert. This medicine bottle originally contained 2 grains of OPIUM. The attractive, aqua-colored bottle measures about 4.5 inches and sports complete labels. No damage to the bottle with some wear to the primary label and more to the side-paneled labels as seen in the photos. The interior displays content residue. The informational paper insert is complete although with some separation and staining. The box is dated 1907 on the top flap, and the bottle side panel displays a written product guarantee as specified under the 1906 Food and Drug Act. A difficult-to-find OPIUM narcotic bottle! |
