This is a most appealing, 1940-1950's era, Medical, "DOCTOR is IN - DOCTOR is OUT" metal sign! It appears to be made of brass. The clock dial is functional, and the condition is very good with minor surface scratches/tarnish and imperfections commensurate with its age. The sign sports a wonderful graphic of a functional clock on the "Doctor is Out" side, allowing the doctor to indicate the time he will return to the office. Manufactured by the Spencer Industries of Philadelphia. Measuring about 6"L x 4.5"W, this very visually-appealing sign will display fabulously! Please note, apologetically, that the photos are slightly out-of-focus; however, the sign, in reality, is not blurry and out-of-focus, and its images are crystal-clear! |
