This early, C1920, hanging, cast iron, match holder was somewhat of a challenge to photograph and capture not only the warm patina of the piece but its interesting details. Mounted to a thick piece of hardwood via 3 screws and devoid of manufacturer's mark, the match holder measures 4 inches high x 3 inches wide x 2.5 inches deep. The face is very well executed with interesting details. This piece is easily displayed on a shelf or hanging by a nail! |
