This 1905 wall calendar features a well-executed illustration of a young black boy enjoying a giant watermelon. The illustration framed in gold foil is entitled "The Real Thing" and is copyrighted 1901 by the Gibson Company. Measuring 7.25 inches long x 5.50 inches wide, the calendar is complete with all 12 months present and was meant to hang on a wall via its pre-punched nail hole. Unused and in very fine condition! Would look fabulous framed or may be displayed "as-is" on a shelf! |
